As our office’s Full-Charge Bookkeeper, Raye ensures the seamless flow of our financial processes, from managing bills and payments to overseeing our cash flow and financial projections. Her diverse experience in business operations enriches our firm with invaluable insights into effective financial management.

A Rich Background in Finance and Administration

Raye’s journey to our firm has been marked by a series of impactful roles in the financial and administrative sectors. Before joining our team, she honed her skills at the National Life agency in Atlanta, dedicating four years to bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities. Her career also spans various positions in small businesses, where she played a key role in their administrative and financial success. Raye is currently advancing her expertise by working towards her national certification in bookkeeping, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her field.

Academic Excellence and Nonprofit Leadership

Raye’s educational background is as impressive as her professional experience. She is a proud alumna of Wake Forest University in North Carolina, holding a BA that has laid the foundation for her successful career. Her passion for community service and nonprofit work is evident in her decade-long involvement in the nonprofit sector, leading professional theaters in metro Atlanta with a focus on strategic planning, financial management, marketing, and fundraising. Furthering her commitment to nonprofit excellence, Raye earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Community Engagement and Personal Interests

Beyond her professional achievements, Raye is deeply committed to her community, serving as a Board leader for Networks Cooperative Ministry. Her leadership roles, including President and Vice-President, and her efforts in fundraising have significantly contributed to the organization’s mission of providing essential services to those in need.

Raye’s life in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and two daughters, is filled with activities that feed her soul. An avid reader, she devours more than 200 books a year, finds joy in attending the theatre, and stays active with contra dancing. Her involvement in her local United Methodist church reflects her deep commitment to her community and her faith.
