My passion for being a Financial Advisor derives from my love of helping people and the satisfaction I feel from making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of my clients. There is nothing more rewarding then witnessing the financial impact that our planning has on our clients' financial world. Positioning a client for success and knowing that you have potentially improved the quality of life for future generations of that family, is an incredible feeling. I am truly thankful that I have a career that I love and allows me to provide an amazing life for my family.
Having started in the financial industry in 2008, sometimes it's hard to remember a life before my clients. I studied finance and economics at the University of South Carolina. I always had a passion for the market, studying the economy, investing, and finances. My college experience definitely solidified my career path. I grew up in the restaurant industry and held every position possible, but always had the spirit of an entrepreneur. I knew at the age of 12, when I started my first paper route and started charging to cut lawns in my parents neighborhood, that I wanted to have my own business. The financial world simply merged many of my passions and my desire to create a meaningful business that improves the quality of people's lives.
The Thoroughbred Team provides an amazing support system that helps provide service for our clients. The family atmosphere is not only appealing as an advisor, but also is appreciated by all the people and families that we work with. The independent space that Thoroughbred works in, allows me to make my practice client centric and focus on building strong relationships in our community.
My family is my world, so most of my time is spent with my beautiful amazing wife Jennifer and my 2 wonderful children, Jameson and Sophie. I love all sports, but am a passionate Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Atlanta Braves fan. I also enjoy reading, the outdoors, and working with my hands; mostly home improvements over the last 3 years.
